Ingrid Boot is a New Zealand-based figurative artist with a love of beauty and the female form, and is inspired by the pages of vintage Vogue, fashion history and fashion photography. Ingrid’s style is illustrative as a result of her further education (having studied Art at Westminster University in London, and Illustration at De Montfort University) and she always tries to create a realistic quality in each piece.
Today, her work is displayed in private collections both here in New Zealand and around the world.
Ingrid’s aim within each painting is to create a timeless elegance whilst capturing a moment in time.
Ingrid will have works in The Gallery, located in the Old Boys’ Pavilion.
