Kate Barnett is an abstract expressionist artist with a background in fashion. The structure and confines of a fashion design and life drawing courses early on in her art journey inspired a passion to create works
defined by freedom of colour, texture, movement and form.
Exhibiting internationally, and locally, winning awards along the way. Kate loves the depth achieved by the process of layering and finds her work evolves from layer to layer which can prove a battle a times, but to see the way the works come together is always a wonderful part of the process.
Kate will have works in one of the eight houses on the Tour.
