Human experience meets the language of painting in the work of Kate Small. Her ravishingly coloured paintings typically locate swimming tog-clad figures in spaces that are an ambiguous mix of the institutional and domestic.
Kate graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in 1991. Her works are held in public and private collections in Aotearoa and overseas, and she has been represented by Anna Miles Gallery since 2005.
Kate will have works in one of the eight houses on the Tour.
