Born and raised in Auckland, Kirsty Nixon began capturing the vibrant personality of New Zealand’s landscape in 1994.
Kirsty’s style was so greatly received, that she found herself leaving her career as an Art Director in an Advertising Agency and becoming a full-time artist.
Kirsty has accumulated a large following of collectors due to her wide range of experience in varying artistic techniques. Her contribution to the New Zealand landscape is fresh and distinctly modern and is primarily known for her large acrylics of New Zealand birds and flora.
Kirsty will have works in one of the eight houses on the Tour.
