Mandy Rodger

Mandy Rodger’s paintings explore continuity and change. The gestural flow of the brush strokes invoke motion and a sense of impermanence, but midst that movement there is a promise of connection and calm.

Mandy practised as a lawyer before studying painting and drawing at the Browne School of Art in 2014.  Her paintings are a visual of the internal discourse between the intuitive and the analytical mind.

She has been working as a professional artist from her Auckland studio since 2018 and was a double finalist in 2019 New Zealand Contemporary Art Awards and a finalist in 2021 National Cleveland Art Awards.

Mandy will have works in The Gallery, located in the Old Boys’ Pavilion.
