Nicola Zimmerman’s work focuses around the endemic fauna and flora of New Zealand, incorporating maps to hint at the location. She enjoys playing with scale and a build up of layers to gradually reveal detail.
Nicola formally trained as an architect and now works as a teacher in Epsom. She has exhibited work throughout the North Island and in 2012 received the award for the most successful artist at the Royal NZ Easter Show.
Nicole will have works in The Gallery, located in the Old Boys’ Pavilion.
