Rieko Woodford-Robinson is best known for her portraits of anthropomorphic creatures. A self-taught artist, Rieko was born in Japan and has lived in Wellington since 1999.
Since her first exhibition in 2010, Rieko has had several solo shows and group exhibitions. She studied Te Papa Tikanga at Te Wananga o Aotearoa and consults with a tikanga Maori advisor.
Part of the proceeds of the sales of her paintings/prints is donated to bird recovery programmes.
Rieko will have works in The Gallery, located in the Old Boys’ Pavilion.
