Vanessa Lim uses a variety of pigments and liquids that are mixed together in order to create a visual experience of space and texture.
Using photography to capture the liquids in various states provides a challenging but satisfying subject to work with.
The propensity of liquids to change quickly requires a still hand, perfect lighting and an amazing camera. The creation of both abstract and non-abstract art is equally fascinating and rewarding.
Vanessa will have works in The Gallery, located in the Old Boys’ Pavilion.
