Stephanie Crisp, is an award-winning artist, residing in Lyttelton, Banks Peninsula. An area she is constantly inspired by.
After a career in education teaching art, she now spends her time painting, running small workshops and teaching small groups.
Stephanie paints in strong acrylic colour. Her work, described as stunning, is beautifully constructed and balanced, and often tell stories of places she has lived in. She sometimes enhances her work through collaged materials and will use embroidery to intensify the surface quality of a work.
