5A Castle Drive, Epsom
Designed by Auckland architect Geoff Ward, the brief for Castle Drive was to create space for four teenagers while ensuring everything remains homely. This house hits the mark!
5A Castle Drive is an airy, modern home. The upper level includes teenage bedrooms, bathrooms and living area with views out over the harbour. Downstairs the open plan kitchen/living is the heart of the home which looks out over the pool and an expansive lawn. The simple, neutral colour scheme is enlivened by pops of colour from the owners own artworks. Upon first entering this property you can’t help but feel welcome.
This home features artists Bec Robertson, Cathy Carter, Christian Nicholson, Emma Bass, John Mulholland, Kath Batchelor, Max Malpass ’14, Mo Stewart, Roger Mortimer, Terry Prince and Yana Meech.
