Psychedelic Waves #1

Psychedelic Wave explores our experience of waves — in the ocean, in the movement of light, and through the act of observation — as a way of contemplating the nature of existence. Through heightened colour, shifting forms and an almost psychedelic, immersive visual experience, the work invites an altered perception of the familiar, opening a space between the tangible and the imagined.

Drawing on ideas from quantum mechanics, Wave Function questions how we perceive reality and understand our place within a potentially multiversal universe. The works evoke a world characterised by flux and uncertainty, where matter and energy exist in dynamic relationships and nothing is entirely fixed or predictable. Waves become both a physical phenomenon and a metaphor for existence: interconnected, constantly transforming, and always in the process of becoming.
