Pearlescent Pink Crunch

The acrylic wall sculpture, “Pearlescent Pink Crunch”, explores the transformation of flat material into sculptural relief through folding, thermoforming, and material experimentation. Drawing on the techniques of volumetric origami, the work develops rippling and crunching geometric rhythms and flowing forms that extend from the wall into space. Light and shadow move across the folded planes, creating shifting visual relationships as the viewer changes position. Balancing order with asymmetric fluidity, each work transforms the wall into an active surface of form, light and perception.
