A Round Sun Sinks Low Over The Endless Ocean

Inspired by the timeless Chinese verse “长河落日圆” (And a round sun sinks low over the long river), this piece captures a fleeting moment where heritage meets the local horizon. The silhouettes of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and Devonport’s vessels stand static against a brilliant golden hour, weaving ancient poetic imagery into the coastal heart of New Zealand.
