While I find it so rewarding to simply throw on the wheel for me it has to be balanced with a rigor where each piece is conceived, designed, drawn to scale then made. I’m always searching for form and function with an aesthetic which has a pared back simplicity.
My background has been almost exclusively within the film industry working over the past 45 years as a production designer and art director.
In parallel with this I have a strong interest in architecture and studied this part time.
My process and work are influenced by these combined interests.
