Rachael Mayne

Rachael Mayne is an Auckland-based artist known for her large-scale impressionistic garden and landscape paintings. Her distinctive painterly language is characterised by expressive brushwork and layered colour. A former clinical psychologist, Rachael returned to painting following her career in psychology, developing a practice centred on imagined gardens, beauty, light, colour and movement. Her work is held in private collections worldwide and exhibited internationally.
