Magnolia in a Crown Lynn Swan

Magnolias, arranged in an iconic Crown Lynn Swan vase, processed as a cyanotype creating the age old Prussian blue edition.

After drying I bleach the blue piece in soda ash.

Once dried again, I tone it in coffee to create the vintage colour.

I let it dry once more before painting with watercolour.

After drying, for the final time,  I seal it with cold wax, to protect it from fading and dust, before framing it in an engraved antique frame.
