This Fumage-styled Satin Jade Flower Blaze explores the interaction between heat, carbon and the transformation of acrylic. Through an experimental process, carbon is introduced to the material, creating darkened surfaces, fine cracks and irregular patterns that respond to the movement of the softened acrylic.
