Satin Maroon Fumage Lotus Blaze

(Gallery) This Fumage-finished Blaze explores the interaction between heat, carbon and the transformation of acrylic. Through an experimental process, carbon is introduced to the material, creating darkened surfaces, fine cracks and irregular patterns that respond to the movement of the softened acrylic. These marks record the forces of forming, revealing a dialogue between material control and unpredictability. Each sculpture captures a unique moment of transformation, where surface, structure and process become inseparable.
