Kowhai Cascade

Golden Kōwhai flowers hang like lanterns; seed pods and leaves emerge against the dark rhythmic background of fluid acrylic. Swirls of lilac, teal and olive, as if the forest were gathering around them. A moment of spring light caught in the shadows of the bush.
