A sweeping elevated view of the Auckland Central Business District, captured directly from the high vantage point of Maungawhau (Mount Eden). The photograph highlights the dramatic contrast between the ancient, grassy volcanic ridgelines in the foreground—dotted with walking trails and visitors—and the dense, modern concrete jungle rising behind it. The iconic Sky Tower punctuates the skyline against a backdrop of the Hauraki Gulf and Rangitoto Island on the distant horizon. Perfect for city lovers and travel enthusiasts, this image showcases the unique geographical identity of New Zealand’s largest metropolis.
